Okay, so, yeah I suck. I haven't posted in, like, fourteen weeks (I only know that because it said so when I logged in--I am not so obsessive that I have counted the weeks myself, I am too lazy for that). That is a hell of a long time. And I am kind of going stir crazy not journaling, so I should really do something about that.
I am on facebook most often, though, so if you care or want to friend me there or whatever, go for it. (Gail Libby...I don't know if there is more tha one of me, so make sure it's the MAINE one 'cause if there is another Gail Libby, then she will not know who you are, probably).
Annnnnnnnyway. Nothing much is going on, which is probably why I haven't bothered signing in. But I am working like crazy on my novel...or novels, really, if you want to get technical about it. One is nearly done (it just needs an end, which I'm told is an important part of a story, for some reason) and the other is in that stage of "OMG I can't leave the house 'cause I have so much to write and my fingers only move so fast!" You'd think that'd be my favorite stage of writing, but it's not really. It leaves no time to do anything else because as soon as I get off the computer, I am like pulled back to it like a magnet. Annoying, really.
Yeah, so that's all I really have to say. Except, I did become slightly obsessed with the Olympics again, and now I have nothing to watch at night so I kind of flit around wishing Michael Phelps were on Disney Channel or something. Or, better yet, Nickelodeon. Like, couldn't Aaron Peirsol just pop up occasionally in the corner of the screen and wave during iCarly?!
I think they should do something about that, for those of us with withdrawal pains.

feehilychicky wants me to update this thing...so here I am.I got a kitten a couple of weeks ago, and she has made it her mission in life to keep me awake and also to keep me sporting lots of bruises and scratches. Her name's Obi Wan Catnobi. You can view her here; she is sort of kicking kitty butt on the kittenwar.com site. LOL
And, yes, she is named after Ewan McGregor...and not Alec Guiness, not that I have anything against him really. It's just that Ewan is way hotter, and my brother wouldn't allow me to name her "Ewwy" for some strange reason.

Did anyone see the Live 8 Concert the other day? I can't remember when it was...last weekend I think. Or something. Anyway. I saw Keane for five seconds, saw Green Day do "We Are the Champions" and then Coldplay do "Bittersweet Symphony" with the dude from The Verve. Awesome. It was good in general, although I could have used less Jay Z and more Keane.
In COMPLETELY unrelated news, London has won. The 2012 Olympics (Summer) will be held there. Which is all fine and dandy, but if it had been in New York I wouldn't have had to pay for a plane ticket or anything. I do plan to find some way to get there...even if it is about a billion years away.
